If you want a diet of slightly more or less calories per day, simply add or remove a 100calorie snack or the side salad / side meal from the list of allowed extras. The BE Active Combos will provide 1170 calories.

OUR LIST OF ALLOWED EXTRAS

With your BE Fit Food, you should try to minimise eating too many calories with your side meals, salads and snacks. We suggest you create your own side meals and salads with ½ a cup of cooked vegetables or 1 cup of salad from these allowed ingredients. Our website also has side recipe ideas. Choose your snack from the list too. Avoid using other ingredients as they are generally more calorific and less nutritious.

BE ACTIVE is slower weight loss compared to BE RAPID, and is ideal for diabetics, those working to maintain weight loss and for those with a generally active lifestyle who are struggling to eat healthy food. It is designed by a team of a doctor and dietitians, Many of the ingredients we use are difficult to source, and the meals very time consuming to prepare. Our customers typically lose 0.5 to 1kg pr week on BE ACTIVE.

Basically, BE ACTIVE is healthy eating with confidence. Our doctor and dietitians have done the hard work so you can be sure you are eating what the latest science tells us is good to eat.

By replacing all 3 of your usual meals and 1 snack per day with BE Fit Food you will only eat 1070 calories per day, and yet get around 100g of protein and only 100g of carbs. You will need to have a further snack of fruit or protein each day to get a total of 1170 calories per day. Most Active people will lose weight on this small number of calories. A number of home delivered food companies offer a meals plan with this number of calories. But the difference between BE Fit Food and most other companies is all our meals are nutritionally balanced, made entirely from whole foods, with nothing artificial, and no added sugar. Our BE ACTIVE plan has more protein and less carbs than any similar eating plan and much less salt. This is because every single BE Fit Food meal and snack is very low in salt, because we don’t add any! And, we also don’t use high salt containing ingredients like soy sauce.

BE ACTIVE COMPARED TO BE RAPID

BE ACTIVE is not a ketogenic diet, it is simply tight calorie control and yet high in nutrients. The weight loss is slower and there is no appetite suppression.

You will have 1170 calories per day.

But just like BE RAPID we do not suggest you alter the diet for exercising.

Do not skip meals or snacks. Skipping meals will mean you will get very hungry later in the day or straight after your next meal.

WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER BE ACTIVE TO KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF?

The majority of our customers go on BE ACTIVE for many weeks and then transition to eating “normally” by substituting a few meals per day with BE Fit Food meals, and then eventually going back to food they make themselves, only using the BE Fit meals in the freezer as back ups.

This transition to your normal diet will prolong the weight loss. It will also help you to revise the portion sizes you have to eat. Try to make your food look the size of our meals at the very least, pack them with nutrients and minimise the carbs and go with the sorts of ingredients you saw in our meals.

Most of our customers keep a supply of BE Fit Food meals in the freezer for those extra busy and emotional days when take-away and junk seems to be calling us.

HAVE YOU GOT ANY TIPS TO HELP ME WITH BE ACTIVE?

Any of the breakfasts can be eaten any day of the week.

And any of the small hot meals, salads and soups can be eaten at either lunch or dinner, any day of the week. We suggest a small serve lunch and a Full serve dinner because it is harder to suppress appetite in the evening. And people often want a larger meal at this time. But have the small serve and Full serve at which ever meal suit you best.

That’s because all BE Fit Food flavour options are almost identical nutritionally and so are readily interchangeable.

When you choose your meals from BE Fit Food, remember you can eat any flavour, any time of the day, or day of the week, beacuase all our types of meals of the same serving size are nutritionally very, very similar.

BE Fit Food is unique in the market for providing all your dietary requirements, but if you go for more than 2 weeks then you should add a multivitamin just to be safe. We suggest taking multivitamins that are specially formulated to be used during weight loss, such as the ones available from BE Fit Food.
