The Locker Room: Couch to 3km Run for Beginners

Have you dreamed of being ‘in the zone’? Of running past the corner of your block and ACTUALLY ENJOYING the feeling?!

Well, the team at The Locker Room know what it takes to get you there.
They have set up a program that will take you from 0-3kms over a 4-week period. Steadily building up your endurance so you can avoid those ‘truly awful’ moments.

Steph Prem
(Studio PP)

Steph is the founder and director of Studio PP and the Premium Performance training method. Steph is a former Winter Olympian and spent 10 years of her life as a professional athlete.

Steph’s passion for Pilates stems from a 4-year rehab stint (consisting solidly of corrective exercise and Pilates) following her career ending back injury in 2010. Steph has trained and worked alongside some of Australia’s industry leaders, has 15 years dance experience and is clinically trained. She lives and breathes health, wellness and an active lifestyle. Smashed avo, froyo and heli-boarding enthusiast, Steph is walking talking embodiment of her brand.

Kane Watts
(Boxer)

Plumber by day, pro boxer by night… this guy just doesn’t rest!

Aust Champ 2015, WBA Champ 2106, 2019 World title contender, 2019 world rated #10. Wow!

We are incredibly fortunate to have one of the worlds best take us through some of his training programs (without the ring, boxing gloves and scary competition of course! We’ll leave that to Kane!).

Kane is truly inspirational, and an incredible example of how hard work pays off.

Amanda Campbell
(Bend Like Bamboo)

At the age of 24, Amanda was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). A debilitating incurable disease that renders its sufferers prone to paralysis, nerve damage, and in some cases blindness.

Amanda suffered a major MS attack in 2009 that left her paralysed down the entire left-hand side of her body. Unable to move, eat, walk or control her own body, Amanda was given only a 50% chance of ever walking again.

With no choice but to succeed, Amanda channelled her energy into a positive force. With a mountain of determination, the aid of eastern and western medicines, Amanda astounded everyone by not only walking unaided, but running again.

A true inspiration, Amanda then founded Bend Like Bamboo (one of Australia’s leading kinesiology practices) and dedicates her time to helping others rebuild their lives after illness, trauma, and stress.

Sarah Moss
(Fitness & Mindset Coach)

Sarah is a mother to 3 beautiful girls living in sunny Darwin, and has been in the health & fitness Industry for over 14 years.

She is the founder of The Thrive Project, an online fitness coaching program designed for busy mums and women. She specialises in strength & conditioning training, nutrition basics for enhanced fat loss, performance & gut health. Sarah will soon be offering Executive Master Coaching. This additional service will assist women & mums in reaching their ultimate potential & goals, working on their mindset to achieve long term & sustainable results.
