Eating Out Tips

There are many tricks you can have up your sleeve to ensure you're still achieving a great life balance and enjoying those nights out.

Before you go out, remember:

Try to look at portion sizes before you order
Consider having your dressings/sauces on the side to minimise extra calories/sugar/sodium
Make the meal protein-based and less based on carbohydrates
Consider having a protein snack prior to eating out, that way you won’t go into the meal so hungry that you overeat
Try to bulk up your meal with a side salad or steamed vegetables
When it's possible, do your research before you go out.
 
Get online and look at their menu so you're prepared.
