There are so many factors that impact our bowel movements, including, of course, H20. In today’s episode we discuss how fibre should be your bowel’s best friend and what can negatively and positively impact our bowel movements.

Be Kind to Yourself

Do You Drink Enough Water?

When you are measuring how much water you need, there are a few things to keep in mind:

1️⃣ ​​Keep yourself hydrated, especially when you're on The Refresh Program™, by drinking at least 2-3 litres of water every day.​

2️⃣ ​It’s best to split the water by the hour to avoid over loading the bladder.

​3️⃣ ​Hydration requirements are based on 35-45ml water per kilo of body weight. This means a 70kg person needs between 2450-3150ml per day.

4️⃣ Water clears toxins, especially ketones, which helps you avoid headaches.​​

5️⃣ Water also assists with metabolic rate.​​

6️⃣ Here's a fun tip... we often mistake thirst for hunger too, so drinking lots of water can help regulate your appetite as well!.


So go and grab yourself a nice tall glass, fill it up, and keep on sipping!
