Are You Hungry, or Are You Bored?

Are you hungry or just simply bored? In today's episode we discuss the importance of differentiating between hunger and boredom, and learn what to look out for to decipher true hunger and tools to stop boredom eating.

Reward yourself for hard work and persistence.

Rewards encourage you to stay on track toward your goal.
Choose a reward that appeals to you. If possible, choose something that helps you work toward your goals.
For example: Go get a massage, pedicure, manicure, a facial or hair cut. Enjoy some self love by doing what you most love: take a relaxing bath, read a book or go for a long walk with your partner or friend.
Even go shopping for a new pair of shoes that might help you with being more active!

Importance of Mindful Eating

Research shows that mindful eating may help people to prevent binge eating and overconsumption, while enjoying food in a healthy and positive way. Mindful eating, also known as conscious eating allows us to feel more in touch with the body’s internal hunger and satiety signals. Many of us may not be aware of the reasons we engage in mindless eating.
