HOW DOES BE FIT FOOD HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT?

The meals and snacks from Be Fit Food are designed to help your body burn stored body fat – by switching from using carbohydrates as the main energy source, to using body fat for fuel instead. This process is called Ketosis and Be Fit Food works by transitioning your body into this fat-burning state.

We get into ketosis by decreasing the amount of calories and carbohydrates you eat (or drink!) and when you are in ketosis, your body produces things called ketones. These ketones help burn stored body fat, but in suppressing appetite too!

You may have heard of the Ketogenic diet before, which is considered a high fat diet and produces large levels of ketones in the body. Be Fit Food uses a mild nutritional ketosis rather than the traditional keto diet because evidence shows that weight loss results are the same – whether the ketosis is mild or extreme.

Wherever you are in your weight loss or maintenance journey, Be Fit Food are here to help, and have dietitians who can personalize the programs to work for you. HOW MUCH WEIGHT WILL I LOSE?

There are different ways that Be Fit Food can support you in your weight loss journey, so the amount of weight you will lose will depend on your goals and which program you choose.

Our most popular program is a two-week program, and people lose an average of 5.89kg over the course of the two weeks. There are also options for people who want to lose weight more steadily, and for those who want to just manage their weight too.
