Should You Chat to a Dietitian?

Should You Chat to a Dietitian?

At Be Fit Food we pride ourselves on being the experts in rapid weight loss and have a have a team of Accredited Practising Dietitians and Nutritionists. We encourage all our customers to book in for their free 15 minute consultation with a BFF dietitian prior to commencing any program or while on the program. If you are local to our Mornington or Mordialloc retail stores (or if you’re ever in the area!) you can book in with a dietitian or our friendly retail staff to have a free body composition scan.

You should speak to a dietitian if you:

  • are wanting to understand more about mild nutritional ketosis
  • after more detailed information about specific nutritional content of our meals
  • have been diagnosed with dietary intolerances, allergies or medical conditions
  • need help with strategies around challenges that you may face whilst following the program
  • require extra support/accountability while following the program
  • are pregnant or breastfeeding

What happens during a phone consultation?

If you have arranged a dietitian phone consultation, we will complete an initial assessment and may ask some questions relating to your current weight, weight history and/or past dieting attempts, your goals and your motivation. We will also ask you to give us details about any medical conditions, allergies, intolerances or medications that may influence your weight loss results and discuss precautions related to starting a rapid weight loss program. Getting to know your exercise regime and a brief rundown of your current diet is also important for us to give you the best advice when starting our programs. We are also available to answer any questions you may have about our different programs!

What happens during body composition scan?

We will ask you to complete a questionnaire about current health and health related goals, we will then get you to stand on our special body scan scales. These scales determine weight, body fat percentage, kg of muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, body water percentage and visceral fat rating. Keeping track of your body composition and seeing your results change over time improves motivation and can assist with accountability towards your goals.

Our BFF dietitians can also get you into contact with dietitians within your community for those seeking additional support. To book simply head to our online booking system here and pick a time and date that suits.
